Researcher at Department of informatics, University of Oslo

Hanne Cecilie is a researcher at the Department of informatics at the University of Oslo. She is interested in how infrastructures not only facilitate societal functions but also shape societies. A key interest is the design of sustainable community-level solar electricity. As part of her Ph.D. project, she has participated in piloting a solar electricity grid in a Bangladeshi village. Her research is informed by Science and Technology Studies (STS), Information Systems research (IS), Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), and anthropology of technology.
